BCP Group Announces Partnership With North Carolina-Based Beacon Prosthetics & Orthotics

BCP GROUP ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH NORTH CAROLINA-BASED BEACON PROSTHETICS & ORTHOTICS
Nashville-based Practice Management Company To Use Acquisition As Growth Platform In North Carolina Market

BCP Group is pleased to announce its recently completed partnership with Raleigh-based Beacon Prosthetics and Orthotics (“Beacon”), a leading provider of prosthetics and orthotics in central and eastern North Carolina since 1997. As part of the partnership, BCP Group has acquired ownership of Beacon and will provide operational services and practice resources to support Beacon’s continued growth.  Beacon’s founder, Eddie White, CP, has become an equity partner in BCP Group and a Senior Clinical Partner in BCP Group’s North Carolina market.  The practice will retain the Beacon Prosthetics & Orthotics name that patients and referring providers in North Carolina have relied on for high-quality patient care for nearly 20 years.

According to Eddie White, “Since the beginning of this relationship it has become clearer to me every day just how committed BCP Group is to making excellent patient care the primary focus of its business model. I do not think that we could have found a more like-minded partner to help us achieve our growth goals.”

Matt Bulow, CP, BCP Group’s Founding Partner and CEO, commented, “Eddie White and the entire Beacon team share our commitment to providing high-quality patient care, and I am very proud to have Beacon P&O become part of the BCP Group partnership.”

Growth Plans
“With five clinics in central and eastern North Carolina, a reputation for high-quality patient care, and a committed team in place, Beacon is well positioned for growth in its current markets and across the state,” said Grant Rutledge, BCP Group’s President, adding that “Eddie has the vision and relationships to drive this growth, and we are thrilled he has chosen BCP Group as his partner.”

Eddie White, who maintains an active patient care practice, will serve as Beacon’s Clinical Director, a role that will allow him to focus on mentoring Beacon’s clinical team and developing partnerships with other clinicians across the state of North Carolina who share Beacon’s commitment to high-quality patient care.

Ashlie White has been promoted to Beacon’s Director of Operations and will be responsible for business operations across Beacon’s growing footprint.

Financing
Financing for the transaction was provided by BCP Group’s existing investors, who have committed up to $100 million of capital to build a national partnership of strong, clinician-driven practices. BCP Group announced a partnership with Denver-based Creative Technology in May 2015 and expects to announce additional transactions later this year.
